Can anyone please tell me the Dx code for atypical seizure.

Is there any more specific information about the type of seizure. If not I would query the Physician for a more specific diagnosis and have the MD amend the note appropriately. If the documentation does not provide more specificty then I would use R56.9. But my best advice would be to query the MD for specificity.
