looking for some clarification on audio only visits (no video) if the patient does not have video access or can't get the video to work
can these be billed with the E/M codes or just the phone codes ?

please help clarify

CMS guidelines are audio only must be billed 99441-99443. This is also the policy of MOST private payors. Some (Cigna comes to mind) advise to bill 99201-99215 even for audio only. You should check the policy of the carrier.
