We are starting to get quite a few patients who are being sent to their PCP for an ear cleaning after seeing their audiologist. What are other offices doing? These are being scheduled as nurse visits in our clinic and I am concerned about where the dx (impacted cerumen) attached to the charge (69209) is coming from. Does the provider technically need to see the pt first?
