I am new to auditing, and I am getting a little confused over the Prevent and Office visit. My specific question is if the patient presents for a prevent and say chest pain. The doctor does a full prevent and additional work up for the chest pain. How can I determine the level of the office visit portion of the visit. Do I only count the ROS, HPI, Exam that is related to the chest pain only? Or can I count the entire ROS/Exam??
