Wiki Auditing an OB summary

Our practice uses an OB Summary for documentation. This is one document used to record all visits. If a provider diagnosis a patient with a condition a condition but does specifically mention the condition on the designated area of notes for that day, can we used the notes from previous visits as supporting documentation since this is one document and not separate documents as a progress notes are?
