This patient was admitted on 6/26 and blood was collected for culture. The encounter I'm auditing is from 7/1. Under lab results, it lists the tests and says "Collected 6/26 Updated 7/1, no growth at 5 days."

Would I be counting this towards data reviewed? I normally do office coding, where tests are only counted once (with rare exceptions.) But in this instance, the results had to be reviewed multiple times because the results could have been different each time.

Answers are appreciated. Fast answers appreciated even more--because then I have to go back and review the other 5 providers' charts that I've already finished. 😢
