What is the proper code to bill for a Autonomic Balance & Accelerated Photoplethysmograph?
I have a doctor billing code 95999 (unlisted neurological or neuromuscular diagnostic procedure) for a Autonomic Balance & Accelerated Photoplethysmograph (heading on the report). It states that this is a pulse wave signal at the finger tip; it can measure the process of arteriosclerosis, peripheral circulation disorder and other cardiovascular disease with the blood elasticity and cardiac output.

Has anyone heard of this? Is code 95999 the proper code? Or would codes 93922 and 93923 the proper code?

Any help would be great!

Thanks:
