Hi! I have pt who has a previous loop graft that has occluded and is nonfuncitional. The physician placed a ash cath and created a Brachiocephalic AV fistula.

My Question is what to bill for this ::rolleyes: Because of the cephalic vein served as an outflow for her previous forearm loop graft, it became quite dilated. The proximal portion that would be anastomosed to the artery was larger than the artery, for this reason, it wasd BANDED by placing three horizontal mattress sutures across the one end, which narrowed the lumen down to then half its size. It was then anastomosed to the artery..

I am thinking they would be part of the AV graft procedure but would love others input on this!:p

Thanks so much!
