Patient has been admitted to the hospital for a few days and now has been discharged to go to a skilled nursing facility but there is has been an out break of the norovirus in the SNF so will need to wait until given the ok to be admitted. So the patient stays in the hospital waiting for a bed and our physician sees them....is this billable? If so what would be the CPT code/Icd-9 code?
