If Annual Wellness visit is being done AUDIO only, is there a modifier that we are suppose to be using or not.

I know CMS hasn't accepted modifier 93.
Modifier 95 is for both AUDIO & VIDEO together.

Wondering how others are billing and coding AUDIO only AWVs.

Yes, that article looks like it is adding these modifiers for mental health. sorry that is my fault. The article that i attached shows a link to a list of telehealth approved codes, and the G0438 and G0439 are approved for telehealth as Audio-only Interaction. Here is another article, its an FAQ with Medicare claims information. The articles i keep pulling are showing 93 modifier for audio only, effective 1.1.2022 but you mentioned above that Medicare is not accepting this modifier. Here is another article i pulled for telehealth information.
