We have a few patients that bring B12 to the office for injection and they only see the nurse. I know that I am only billing the nurse visit and administion fee but what DX do I use for those charges??

First.. you do not charge a 99211 for an injection, you charge the admin fee only, a 96372
Second.. no one can tell you what dx code to use without benefit of the documentation as to why the patient is receiving the injection.
We can never assume we must know!
