Can anybody provide any guidance regarding B12 shots in podiatry? How is this billed, administered, and reimbursement. I could not find a specific Medicare guidance.

I'm in Oncology...we give B12 as IM injections because patients have a B12 deficiency, a B12 deficiency-related anemia or because they're getting pemetrexed. What is the medical necessity for the podiatrist giving B12 shots?
