Can anyone explain to me if you are having difficulties getting paid for backbench services. We have notice a decrease in payment for these procedures when performed by the primary surgeon and the assistant surgeon.
Our services are performed at a teaching medical facility and in the past we were getting by most carrier now we are experiencing denial indicating these are not covered but included in the primary procedure.
