I have been training to be in the coding field since 2010 and will take my CPC test On Oct. 6th. I was wondering if anyone knew how far back the employers do background checks? If it is 7 years I have 1 on my record and if it is 5, I am good to go, so I need to know when filling out applications, do I put yes for convictions or do I put no? Please if any one knows, HELP!

I think you should disclose this information. If you don't tell them, and they find out, you will definately not get the job. You will not be automatically be denied employment for a criminal conviction in your past. Honesty is the best policy! Good luck!
