We have a patient that has a vertical band in place that has eroded (non-adjustable). We are now taking her to surgery for revision to a Roux-en-Y. Is there a CPT code for removal of the vertical band? I have looked at 43848 but we are doing this laparoscopically and that code is for an open. We could use unlisted code with that as comparison but hate to do that but it may be my only option. Any ideas on this one????
