Are there any coders out there who have worked for this company before ? I just accepted a position with them and I am scheduled to start next week and this afternoon I received a phone call from a recruiter offering me a position I interviewed for several weeks ago and when I told him I already found a remote coding position he then informed me "to be carful" because they aren't what they seem. Their case mix is very difficult and they state they require you to code 2-3 inpatient charts an hour but their charts are very lengthy stays of 40-60 days. I just found that very hard to believe that every stay is that long and if it is they would only give you 15-30 min to code it ? I have never been employed by a company that required us to code those big of accounts in that short of time. You'd miss too many important details because of rushing.
