BCBS is denying the 33990 as investigational. Has anyone else experienced this, do you appeal? How's that working for you?
 
update

I called ABIOMED reimbursement hotline #877-256-0861 and the rep looked up the BCBS policy for my state and confirmed that it is investigational and "will not pay,no matter what". She said it was reviewed last August and she would check to see if if is up for review again. So for me and my state it is a write off.
