I have an MD who wants to hire LCSWs for smoking cessation and short term psychotherapy. He doesn't want to have to credential them as they will be part time. Does anyone have any knowledge if BCBS SC and BCBS NC allow billing for incident-to services? I cannot locate anything specific on either website. What about under general supervision and not direct? Is Medicare the only one? Thanks in advance for your time!
