New
e/m codes 99211-99215 sent to bcbs POS 11 mod 95 are suspended. The notice from blue is a workflow error. Does anyone know what this is? Everything I am reading says POS should be 11 not 02. Please help.

I believe that was just updated this week so maybe the system isn’t setup to receive them yet? I think before this week POS was 02.

POS 11 instead of 02 is a Medicare thing. I haven't read from anyone else that they are following suit.

BCBCGa- We filed with POS 02 modifier 95. Claims are being reimbursed at the same allowed amount as face-to-face.
My local blue (Empire BCBS), issued their original statement to bill POS 02 on 03/23/20. They issued an amended statement on 04/01/20, but still advise to bill POS 02. https://providernews.empireblue.com...from-empire-for-care-providers-about-covid-19

I have gotten this message on several of my pended claims with BCBS. I emailed my local BCBS rep to see what the issue is.

I just read on bcbs website yesterday 04/07/20 that they want pos 02 with modifier gt or 95
