Is anyone else having issues with BCBS recouping the reimbursement they receive for Benlysta waste? It is billed out correctly with the modifier JW on the waste. EviCore is a third party company that they have auditing Benlysta waste. We use the correct number of vials to have the least amount of waste possible. Does anyone have any insight to this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
 
Check your BCBS plan policy. Each BCBS has their own policy, most having one for Benlysta due to the cost. To my knowledge, we haven't had an issue with Benlysta waste.
