Good morning..
My doc did bilateral knee scopes on a patient. The rt knee was coded 29881 and 29875 w/ 59 mod. The lft knee was 29877 w/ 59 and lft mod...Medicare is denying the lft knee as inclusive... Is there something different that I should attach to show Medicare this is two different surgeries?? thanks!

I know they deny if its on the same knee...but these are two separate knees...but I just spoke to Medicare and they said exactly what you just said...thank you so much for replying! have a great day!
