Incision over the antecubital fossa. Upper arm is examined. Biceps tendon absent from usual postition. Could feel it coiled under the fascia. Attempted to identify the known path where it avulsed off the bicipital tuberosity. Could not mobilize the tendon as it was stenotic and scarred down. Decided not to attempt reattachment to the biceps tuberosity, but rather to tenodese to the brachialis. Posterior sheath of bicep compartment was opened, split longitudinally. The stub of the bicep tendon was shortened and then the bicep was tenodesed to the brachialis. Incision is closed.
I was looking at 24340. He goes in from the elbow area so that is why I chose this code. Only other possibility may be unlisted?
