This code is a 0-indicator code for bilateral billing and is editing with the use of Mod 50. Mod XS is a no-go because MUE is 1 on 50360. Two transplants were performed--RT kidney went into LT fossa; LT kidney went into RT fossa. We did not do nephrectomy, only transplant. How do we bill this so we can get paid for both transplants.?
