Hi: I have not been coding and billing for a while, and now am doing some ENT, please help. I'm trying to fic the last billing companies modifier errrors. For procedure 30140 done on both sides, they are putting on the claim 30140-51 with an $800 fee, then next line 30140-50-10 with a $400 fee. I think it should be 30140-50 with the fee of $1200.
Please advise. I appreciate the AAPC coders help on this forum.

30140 is unilateral procedure which needs 50 or LT, RT modifier. Generally we post this with 50, in case medicare, as it accept claim in two line items so we can use with LT RT too.
