Hi! Was hoping someone can help me on this one......Pt came in for a recheck on a thumb fracture and during that visit also complained of back pain, he was assessed as " symptomatic" scoliosis. Can I bill for that seeing that it's stated as "symptomatic"?? TIA!!!

I would ask for clarification from the provider; are they stating that the patient does have scoliosis or has the symptoms of scoliosis but scoliosis has not been diagnosed yet? If actually diagnosed as scoliosis then no problem to bill that dx code.
