My doctor just completed a billing compliance course and is questioning billing 93545 twice if the left coronary and right coronary are injected. Is this true? If so, is there a modifier I should use? Thanks.
 
Hello: On 93539 through 93545, each code in this series is reported only ONCE per cardia catheterization service. You can find this in the Cardiology Coder from Medlearn; and info from seminars I attended.:)

Now if there something new on this for 2010 I have not yet ran across it.
