How do we bill this:
We are a physicians group, recently bought by a Hospital. There is another physicians group owned by same hospital. We are in two different buildings. We have same tax ID as them but different group NPI. A physician from the other group came to ours and performed a 93970 for a patient. We are on different systems so I'm thinking we can bill for the Technical part and he (the other group) can bill for the Professional part. Would there be any reason we could not bill this way. Any help is greatly appreciated!!
