Can a Nurse Practitioner (internal medicine, not behavioral health) bill 96127 in place of service 31 (skilled nursing facility)? One of our NP's wants to do the brief behavioral assessment for her SNF patients. I can't find info on whether or not Medicare will cover in POS 31? Thanks for your help!
 
As per our call with Medicare representative, they do not cover this for place of service 31 with part B, however they do cover with part A.
