You see the patient over multiple days, and use the last day to bill out the service. But if you have 3 patients and bill out all on the same day, your time added up could come up to 36 hours with time overlapping. Example
spent 12 hours total with Susie billing on 11/1 8:00,
spent 10 hours with Bill billing 11/1 at 1:00 and then
spent 14 hours with Mary billing 11/1 at 3:00; totally 36 hours.
Time will overlap, how do we bill this? APA suggest billing the last date patient was seen
