So I have a surgeon that started in our office January 1, 2025, before he worked for the Medical Center in our area. He did a surgery ona patient in Nov 2024 at his previous facility and now he sees the patient in our office, which is his new clinic. Do we still have to abide by the 90 day global or can we bill an OV?

Just wondering what the policies are since he did the surgery with one employer and now sees the patient for a follow up with a different employer.

It doesn't matter who employed the physician at the time. The surgery was paid which has a 90 day global. Any work that is part of the global surgical package was already paid when the surgery was paid.
The same guidelines apply to new vs established patient.
