question concerning if cpt 62140 (cranioplasty) being billed with 61524 (crani) is correct?? Patient has surgery in Nov 2020 for VP Shunt Placement and a crani 2 years ago. I do not agree with 62140 (cranioplasty) as he used the same crani entrance as before so he would have to repair that anyway since he is doing another crani. Is that included? Also if Dr also wants to bill 61618, is it only for repair of post op complication at a different operative session?
