Can anybody tell me what's the difference between billing e/m or psychotherapy -vs- billing codes 96150-96155??
 
E & M codes VS Codes 96150-96155

E & M codes are mainly for office visits and are generally a flat rate fee. Codes 96150 through 96155 are for assessments and re assessments for Health and Behavior in 15 minutes increments. It's according to how much time the physician meet with the client and /or family.
