I am not sure where to post this question....but....we are about to start billing for a PA in surgery as 1st assist...but this PA does not work for us and as far as I know we will not be paying him.

One of our docs is also employed with another group, and it is his PA that he wants to bring to assist on surgical cases that belong to our group.

Does this seem right?
It is possible I am being told we are not paying this PA, because we are going to write him a check once we get reimbursed...which also does not seem right to me? they like to tell me things they think wont make me scream and kick.

Can you point me in right direction to find some information on this?

thanks for any help
