The office I am employed by also runs an "day spa" providing laser treatment. We are wanting to expand on that by offering massage, including those for diagnostic purposes and billing those services. This is completely new to me and I need assistance from anyone who has expierence in this area. I have located code 97124, and believe this is the correct CPT. I also, need assitance for who exactly can provide and bill for this service. We have a Nurse practioner that has taken training to provide various laser surgeries and she will likely be providing the massage. I have read the CPT guidelines, but am left with questions. I appreciate any advice.
