Wiki Billing for Medical Assistant time

We are billing Diabetic Counseling 97802-97803 with RD's, and we have Medical Assistants in the room before hand taking vitals and medical information etc. My question is does anyone know if we are able to bill for their face to face time with the patient under these code and include them in the RD billing time as well? We are billing only to BCBS. Thanks for any help on this.
