Wiki Billing for Mitosol

My retinal doc was previously using a Mitomycin compound (not billed separately) when performing surgery for an Express Mini Shunt for glaucoma (66183). We have now been forced to obtain Mitosol for this use, and were required to purchase the kits 3 at a time. I understand that Mitosol has been FDA approved and it has a HCPCS code (J7315).

Can anyone help me to understand (and explain to my doc) how we really need to bill this with the mini shunt and what type of reimbursement we'll receive? My doc is asking if we can bill the other 2 kits as "wasted" (such as with a BOTOX vial) since we had to buy 3 kits, but probably won't end up using the other 2?

ALL ASSISTANCE IS GREATLY APPRECIATED!!
