Can you bill the entrie MDV to the patient at the first injection and then just bill the adminstration codes at the subsaquent visits?

For example

Patietn needs to recieve weekly injections - we order the medication and will bill for the "Jcode"

Can we bill for the entire vial at visit 1, then only bill the adminstration code for visits 2-4.

Each vial would be labeled and be patient specific vials - we would keep the stock in the clinic.

Any advice ??

Unfortunately, no. You can only bill what is given to the patient on that date of service. There is no such thing as pre-billing supplies. What if the patient dies before they receive all of their meds?
