Wiki Billing for No Shows

My surgeon wants to bill for a patient not showing up for surgery. We already bill an E&M code for no shows in the office. I cannot find anything that says we can or can't bill for the no show for OR.
Help :confused:
 
Indiana Law

Indiana law is very gray on this subject. Medicare allows you to file charges for No Shows as long as you do the same with other payors. Indiana law unfortunately IN law states you cannot bill for a service that was not done. Sorry I am not much help:confused:
