We're a Derm group and just hired a RN.
She's going to do SAAS and give K4 injections for acne patients if needed. The problem is the provider wants her to do that when he's not in the office.
My understanding was RN can provide service under only "incident to" condition with direct supervision and bill under the supervising provider.
I'm sure I'm right, but need to know what is the condition RN can provider service, such as injections, without supervising provider presents?
I see RN visit patient's home and give injections for elderly like Visiting nurse svc.
How do they bill for the service?
