for georgia medicade, how many units will i bill for cpt 90853, 45 minutes. my office manager advised us to bill with 2 units and some staff members are saying it should be 1 unit
 
GA Medicaid's guidelines state this code is billed as 1/2 hour unit so you should bill 1 unit for the 45 minutes session. The additional 15 minutes would not meet guideline for another unit because it is not more than one-half of the 30 minutes.
