Is there someone that can help me figure out if something is acceptable or not. Our office is wanting to charge therapeutic admin 96372 to ALL patients that received an injectable medication regardless if it was appropriate to charge the admin fee at the time of the office visit or not. My feelings are that if it's not appropriate in the coding world at times not to include the admin fee 96372 then we should not be charging the patients for it at those times either. My providers disagree and say we should be able to 96372 to all visits where injectables were used. Please help me decide if I am wrong in my thinking or not.

Hello!

Let me make sure that I understand you correctly. Are your physicians wanting to bill the patient for the injection fee when you can't bill insurance?
