Yesterday I spent hours on the phone with Medicare and on their web site. Do I bill ASC fees to Part B or Part A? Does anyone know how to obtain an existing Medicare Accreditation certificate?
You bill Part B...for the acreditation I guess you need to call the Medicare Provider Relation line, they would be the one to direct you to the right person to obtain a copy of the certificate, I hope this helps!
You bill part B, weird I know! As far as the Accrediation I would assume you go through the website but I have no idea. I just started working for a bariatric practice that owns their own ASC and found it quite odd that the ASC is still billed under part B.
