Wiki Billing NC Medicaid for DME and Orthotics

Can anyone provide me with any good information on how to get claims paid when billing to medicaid for DME and orthotics?

I am having the hardest time getting them paid.

Most denials are for (invalid POS, Provider may not bill this type of service, incorrect modifier).

Do the doctors have to have the credentialed for orthotics to be able to provide orthoics?

Its very confusing to me, If anyone have any good resources that would be great, I've tried going on Medicaid's website but that is a zoo.
