Wiki Billing of CPT code 77427

Hi all! I have a question about the billing of CPT code 77427. For years our practice has billed this charge on the date it was performed and the documentation shows that date. We are being asked to drop this charge on a different date within the 5 fractions it is being performed for. We have researched this and see that some facilities drop this charge on the last date of the 5 fractions. My question is this: Does the documentation have a span date? If the documentation does not cover that 5 fraction span date, how are other facilities being paid for CPT code 77427 if the billed date does not match the date on the document?
