We are a BCBS GA provider. GA requests we bill our PA surgical assistants with a modifier 81 under the supervising physician's name. However, all BCBS Michigans reject when we bill this way. It has been a nightmare trying to find out from Michigan how they want the PA assists billed. Is anyone billing BCBS Michigan PA surgical assistants? If yes, how?
