Can you bill for physician services when the physician provides services with the ambulance? We are a rural Critical Access Hospital w/Ambulance Services. We had a patient who was full term come in in labor, with 2 previous C-sections, and contractions 2 minutes apart. We no longer deliver babies, especially via C-section, thus our physician via the ambulance took her 35 miles to the closest OB and larger hospital. Payer is BCBS.
