I bill for a Level 4 NICU and our NPPs go in the ambulance to take care of babies being transported to our NICU. My claims are being denied under POS 21, which I understand. I was told by an insurance company to bill under POS 41, but then I hit a hold for the mileage code, so I don't think that's right. Anyone have other ideas? Thanks!
