Our office transitioned to new billing software (AthenaNet-Collector) back in 12/2009. We are having alot of problems with Medi-cal and the OB coding, rules, modifiers, w/o's, denials, etc......the list goes on and on. Athena doesn't seem to understand at all California based Medi-cal, is different than Medicaid. We would really appreciate finding/speaking to another OB/GYN office in California that possibly uses AthenaNet.
It is not just issues with Medi-cal, however, the majority of our issues are.
