It is my understanding that when one of my providers does anesthesia for a colonoscopy, then the patient
is taken to the OR to have a hernia repair done by a different provider. I am to bill the hernia repair and add
the time from the colonoscopy to that. My providers are questioning this because it is done in two different
areas.
Am I wrong in my understanding?
