Hi I was hoping someone could answer this......Can we bill for 2 visits ie: sick/well on same day?? I know we can in ICD9 but was'nt sure about Icd10. Thanks :)

If the payient presents for a wellness with expressed symptoms or complaints, ICD-10 CM Z00 and Z01 category's state "without complaint". In addition there is an excludes 1 note that states excludes 1 encountwr for signs and symptoms - code to the signs and symptoms.
This excludes 1 note will prevent coding a preventive encounter with a sick encounter.

I suspect this topic will keep popping up on the forum and be debated for some time. As for me, I find it very helpful in order to be prepared for the questions that will soon be coming our way from the providers!
